The process of ultradiluting a compound in order to magically "potentiate" various effects has been used for hundreds of years in the area of homeopathic medicine. Homeopathy is based on the principle of "like cures like", in the sense that if you are allergic to a specific compound, the ultradilution of that compound, prepared through a magical shaking during the dilution process, will result in an antidote to the allergy.
The late French scientist Jacque Benveniste published this principle in the journal Nature (1988 Human basophil degranulation triggered by very dilute antiserum against IgE. Nature (333:816-818) E. Davenas, F. Beauvais, J. Amara, M. Oberbaum, B. Robinzon, A. Miadonna, A. Tedeschi, B. Pomeranz, P. Fortner, P. Belon, J. Sainte-Laudy, B. Poitevin, J. Benveniste.) only to have the paper retracted.
This patent uses the same concept of potentiation but applies it to stem cell stimulatory factors and other growth factors. If her results are reproducible, this patent will revolutionize medicine as we know it.
