This is a very interesting patent for generation of new cells and new stem cells. This patent is way ahead of its time. It teaches to take recipient cells from a degenerated organ, "rejuvenate" the cells by transplanting the nucleus of the old cell into a cytoplasm of a newer cell, generating a histocompatible cell population through this fusion, and transplanting the cells back into a recipient.
This patent may be prior art to some of the newer "cytoplasmic transfer" approaches.
