This patent covers a method of cloning in which the nucleus is transferred across generations. The first claim exemplifies the basis of what is covered, which is essentially "serial nuclear transfer" by a) taking a transgenic nucleus b) culturing the nucleus in an embryo c) splitting the embryoin into cells d) taking the nucleus from the cells and using it to insert into oocytes in order to make a new embryo The patent appears to be restricted to ungulates, such as cows, sheeps, goats and pigs.
