This video describes the possibility of treating Type 2 Diabetes through administration of mesenchymal stem cells. The author first discusses the possibility of preventing diabetes progression by inhibiting inflammation with mesenchymal stem cells, as well as the usual stem cell regeneration of islets. Interestingly, the video also addresses the possibility of treating secondary complications of diabetes using stem cells.
